Day 1: We started with a quick stop at a city called Burdeaux, very pretty place with nice castles and rich architecture, charming streets and gray skies!
Day 1: Empezamos con una parada express en una cuidad llamada Burdeos, muy linda, con castillos y arquitectura llamativa, calles encantadoras y cielos grises.

Then we kept travelling to go to a city I've always wanted to go: Paris!
OMG Paris is amazing! Super pretty and full of art and museums and ancient but cool architecture. One of the first things that came up to my mind was something that my friend Maru told me: you're gonna loooove the eiffel tower at night!! Due to that we went to the Eiffel tower as soon as we arrived. We took the subway and I was super exited to arrive! We got off the subway (Trocadéro on metro line 9 and line 6 to be more precise)... and there it was... AMAZING! I literally had teary eyes! My mom couldn't believe my reaction, hahaha I was so amazed so I gave her a hug, I was so lucky to be there! What an intense feeling!
We stood there for about half an hour before we decided to get closer. Shit. The line to go to the top of the tower was super long, it was cold and it was starting to rain, so we decided to come back on the next day or so. After that we walked by the lovely parisian streets full of art and fashion, to get to the "Triumphal arch", also very beautiful!!!
Ps: My friend Maru was right, I looooved the tower at night!
Luego seguimos viajando para llegar a una cuidad que siempre he querido ir: Paris!
OMG Paris es increíble! Hermosa y llena de arte, museos y arquitectura antigua pero muy cool. Una de las primeras cosas que se me vino a la mente fué algo que me dijo mi amiga Maru: amiga te va a encantar la Torre Eiffel de noche! Debido a eso fuimos directo a la Torre a penas llagamos a Paris. Tomamos el metro y estaba muy emocionada de llegar! Nos bajamos del metro (estación Trocadéro en línea 9 y línea 6 para ser mas precisa)... y ahí estaba... INCREIBLE! ´Tenía los ojos llorosos, literalmente! Mi mamá no podía creer mi reacción, jajaja, estaba tan encantada que no dudé en darle un abrazo, me sentía tan afortunada de estar ahí. Un sentimiento muy intenso. Nos quedamos ahí alrededor de media hora antes de decidir ir hacia la Torre. Mierda. La fila para subir a la alto de la Torre era larguísima, hacía frío y estaba empezando a llover, así que decidimos volver al día siguiente u otro. Después de eso caminamos por las encantadoras calles Parisinas, llenas de arte y moda, hasta llegar hasta el "Arco del Triunfo", también hermoso!!!
Ps: Maru tenía razón, amé la torre de noche!!

Day 2: So Paris is also known by its historical museums and monuments so we are dedicating this day to enjoy a little bit of that. First visit: Louvre Museum! This is one of the world's largest and most visited art museum in the world and a historic monument. Also known as the museum with the glass pyramids, very cool by the way.
Here you can find the super duper famous "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo da Vinci, Louvre's most popular attraction. Believe me it was FULL of people taking pictures! Including me lol.
Also, there are lots of greek and roman sculptures, decorative arts, paintings and lots of geek stuff that I loved. You can also find great painting by Raphael and Michelangelo.
Día 2: Bueno Paris también es conocido por sus museos y monumentos históricos, así que este día lo dedicaríamos a disfrutar un poco de eso. Primera visita: Museo de Louvre! Este es uno de los museos de arte más grande y más visitado del mundo y además es un monumento histórico. También es conocido como el museo con las pirámides de vidrio, que son muy cool!
Día 2: Bueno Paris también es conocido por sus museos y monumentos históricos, así que este día lo dedicaríamos a disfrutar un poco de eso. Primera visita: Museo de Louvre! Este es uno de los museos de arte más grande y más visitado del mundo y además es un monumento histórico. También es conocido como el museo con las pirámides de vidrio, que son muy cool!
En este museo se encuentra la super ultra famosa pintura "La Mona Lisa" de Leonardo da Vinci, la cual es la atracción mas popularsh del museo. Creanme, estaba LLENO de gente tomando fotos, conmigo incluída jaja. Además hay un montón de esculturas griegas y romanas, arte decorativo, pinturas y un montón de otras cosas pernas que me gustaron. Aquí también se encuentran las pinturas de Rafael y Miguel Angel.
Then we went to the Pantheon a place where the rotation of the Earth was demonstrated by constructing a 67 meter pendulum beneath the central dome, really impressive!

Después fuimos al Pantheon, un lugar muy especial porque ahí se demostró la rotación de la Tierra, construyendo un péndulo de 67 metros en el centro de la cúpula, muy impresionante!

At the afternoon we took a boat tour, so we drift down the Seine river, were we got to see the city in a different view.
En la tarde tomamos un paseo en barco por el río Seine, así, pudimos ver la cuidad desde otro punto de vista.
Day 3: Super exiting day! The night before I got a message from Danison, one of my closest friend back home, she was also in Paris with her boyfriend Pablo!!! So we obviously decided to get together the next day.
In the morning we went to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart and took a little walk around the area. Then we went to Notre Dame Catheral, this is a (listen up) gothic, roman, catholic cathedral, considered one of the finest examples of French gothic architecture in France and in Europe.
Later that day we went back to the Eiffel tower, this time we got to the top!!
The view from up there is spectacular! Absolutely gorgeous! A magical moment to see the whole city, specially by night, the lights of Paris are just charming.
Día 3: Día muy emocionante! La noche anterior recibí un mensaje de una de mis mejores amigas: Danison, ella también estaba en París, con Pablo, su pololo (novio)!!! Así que obviamente decidimos juntarnos al otro día.
En la mañana fuimos a la Basílica del Sagrado Corazón, caminamos un poco alrededor del lugar para luego ir a la Catedral de Notre Dame, esta es (atentos) una catedral gótica, romana y católica, considerada uno de los ejemplares mas finos de la arquitectura gótica francesa en Francia y Europa.
Mas tarde volvimos a la Torre Eiffel, esta vez subimos!!
La vista desde arriba es espectacular! Absolutamente maravillosa! Un momento mágico para ver toda la cuidad, especialmente de noche, las luces de Paris son encantadoras.
Ps: if you ever visit the Eiffel Tower make sure you stay there long enough to see the moment it starts glittering, that is absolutely amazing you kinda feel like you are waiting for fireworks to start. This happens every 30 minutes, and the tower lightens up with a million flashing lights!
Ps: si alguna vez van a la Torre Eiffel asegúrense de quedarse lo suficiente para ver el momento en que la torre comienza a brillar, es maravilloso, se siente como si esperaras a que empiezen los fuegos artificiales. Esto pasa cada 30 minutos y la torre se ilumina con un millón de luces destellantes!
