The wedding of the year!

Miami, May, 2012.

Yes! So I'm lucky to say that I've traveled to Miami a few times, but this time was absolutely different and super important & special.

One of my cousins (or how I like to call them: my almost brothers) was getting married! So for the first time ever as a family we were travelling all together to reunite in this very important occasion. I was super exited cuz we haven't been all together since one part of my family moved to the states, more than 10 years ago! So we were all very happy and exited about it, specially for me, cuz since I've moved to Florence I haven't seen them in so long!

Yes! Soy afortunada de decir que he viajado a Miami un par de veces, pero esta vez era absolutamente diferente, muy importante y especial.

Uno de mis primos (o como a mí me gusta llamarlos: mis casi hermanos) se casaría. Así que por primera vez como familia, viajaríamos todos para reunirnos en esta ocasión tan importante. Estaba super emocionada porque no estábamos todos juntos desde que una parte de la familia se mudó a Estados Unidos, hace mas de 10 años! Así que estábamos todos muy contentos y emocionados por eso, especialmente para mí, ya que desde me mudé a Florencia no los he visto en harto tiempo!

Sì! Ho la fortuna di dire che ho viaggiato a Miami un paio di volte, ma questa volta era assolutamente diversa e molto importante e speciale. Uno dei miei cugini (o come mi piace chiamarli: il mio quasi fratelli) si sposava! Così, per la prima volta eravamo in viaggio tutti insieme per riunire in questa occasione molto importante. Io era molto contenta perchè non siamo stati mai tutti insieme dal momento che una parte della mia famiglia si è trasferìta negli Stati Uniti, più di 10 anni fa! Quindi siamo stati tutti molto felici, specialmente per me, perchè da quando mi sono trasferita a Firenze non li ho visti in tanto tempo!





The day before the wedding we participated in the wedding rehearsal, all of us together at the church where Feli and Jessi were getting married.
Can you believe I even cried a little on the rehearsal? I know i know but it was the event of another dimension! hahaha
El día antes del matrimonio participamos en el ensayo del matrimonio, todos juntos en la iglesia donde Feli y Jessi se casarían.
Pueden creer que me cayeron mis lagrimones en el ensayo? Lo sé, lo sé pero es que era un acontecimiento importantísimo!  hahaha
Il giorno prima del matrimonio abbiamo partecipato alla prove del matrimonio tutti insieme nella chiesa dove Feli e Jessi si sposavano.

And the special day finally came! Jessi and Feli looked soooo pretty! Jessi's dress was absolutely amazing! And the bouquet, omg, and her shoes!!!! The ceremony was perfect and we were all so happy and exited. I thank life for being part of this beautiful part in my cousin's life.

Y el día especial por fin llegó! Jessi y Feli se veían taaaan lindos! El vestido de Jessi era precioso! Y el ramo, omg, y sus zapatos!!! La ceremonia fué perfecta y estábamos todos muy contentos y emocionados. Agradezco a la vida por haber podido ser parte de este momento tan importante en la vida de mi primo.

E finalmente e arrivato il giorno speciale! Jessi e Feli erano troppo bellini! Il vestito di Jessi era assolutamente incredibile anche il bouquet, e le scarpe!!! La ceremonia è stata perfetta e siamo stati tutti molto felice. Ringrazio la vita per essere stata parte di questa bellissima e importante momento nella vita di mio cugino.

And then after the super pretty and emotional ceremony, it was time to p.a.r.t.y!

E poi, dopo la cerimonia bella ed emotiva, era il momento di festeggiare!

Then we welcomed back Feli and Jessi, and it was part of the first husband & wife dance, so adorable! Then Jessi with her dad, with a lovely song that he used to sing when she was little, and after that Feli and his mom, dancing an emotional song that brought watery eyes to a few people.

Después le dimos nuevamente la bienvenida a los novios, y era hora de su primer baile como marido y mujer. Luego Jessi y su papá, con una canción muy linda, que el le cantaba cuando ella era chiquita, y después Feli y su mamá, bailando una canción muy emotiva, que ocasionó varios ojos llorosos a algunas personas.

Poi abbiamo benvenuti alla coppia, ed era tempo per il loro primo ballo come marito e moglie. Poi Jessi con suo babbo, con una canzone molto carina che lui li cantava quando lei era piccola, poi Feli e la sua mamma, ballando una canzone molto emotiva che ha causato moli occhi piangenti per alcune persona.

Of course there are no more pictures, I said it was time to party!
But you know how it goes, we drink, we dance, we drink, we laugh, we eat, we drink, we take pictures, we get crazy, we drink, someone throws a drink on you, you see a super wasted girl flashing her boobs without noticing it cuz she can even stand and this is how the night went on. And "LA HORA LOCA": OMG super fun! The name says it all, crazy hour, but actually the entire party was loca, full of surprises!

Obvio que no hay mas fotos, dije que era hora de festejar!
Pero ya saben como sigue, tomamos, bailamos, tomamos, nos reímos, comemos, tomamos, sacamos fotos, nos volvemos locos, tomamos, te botan un trago encima, ves a una chica completamente curada (borracha) mostrando las boobies sin siquiera saber porque esta muy wasted para darse cuenta y así es como siguió la noche. Y "La Hora Loca": OMG demasiado entretenida! El nombre lo dice todo, pero mas que hora loca, en realidad fué toda la fiesta, llena de sorpresas!

Ovviamente non c'è nessun altra foto, ho detto che era il momento di festeggiare!
Ma sai come segue si beve, si balla, si beve, si ride, si mangia, si beve, si fanno le foto, se impazzisce, si beve, qualcuno ti lancia in drink sopra, si vede una ragazza completamente ubriaca che mostra le sue tette senza nemmeno saperlo perche è troppo sprecata per notare e anche per mantenersi in piedi, è così che la notte ha continuato. E "L'ORA PAZZA" troppo divertente! Il nome dice tutto, era pieno di sorprese!
